Data Quality Steward plays a key role in understanding business processes, data workflows, and quality controls, ensuring compliance with data standards. In this position, you'll be responsible for leading practical tasks guided by a manager.
Responsibilities:
- Requirement Analysis: Understanding and documenting intricate business processes, data flows, datasets, and quality controls by analyzing the current state.
- DQ Requirement Definition: Formalizing quality requirements based on business analysis.
- Data Analysis: Documenting data collection from diverse sources and integrating it across functions for utilization.
- Data Quality Improvement: Interpreting data profiling results to validate and suggest quality controls and business metrics enhancements.
- Stakeholder Management: Developing detailed Data Governance and Quality artifacts to exhibit Business and Technical Stewardship for Governance initiatives.
- Implementation: Executing or supporting quality reporting processes and collaborating with stakeholders.
Requirements: Let's outline the necessary competencies, including experience and skill sets.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years working as a data engineer, IT engineer, or business analyst.
Skills:
- Experience in Data Governance and Quality management executions.
- Proficiency in SQL, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.
- Ability in designing and understanding database schema and data models.
- Strong in business analysis and defining requirements.
- Experience with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Preferable:
- Knowledge and experience in data integration via API or ETL.
- Experience with Hadoop ecosystem, Azure data platform, and Salesforce applications.
Language:
- Japanese: Intermediate
- English: Intermediate

■Terms of Employment:
◇Annual Salary: Commensurate with experience and skills.
◇Wage Payment: Monthly
◇Working Hours:
・09:00~17:00, 7 hours per day, with 1-hour break
・Overtime work: Yes
◇Holiday:
・121 days off (Saturdays, Sundays, National Holidays, 5 days during year-end and New Year)
・Paid Leave: 5 or 10 days (depending on the start date)
・Others: Funeral leaves, Special Leaves for 5 consecutive days
◇Working Location: Kinshicho
