About the Role

  • You will be a part of consulting or implementation team during IT projects for financial institutions, primarily insurance companies.
  • You will coordinate larger, Agile implementation projects or act as an independent leader of a project area.
  • You will lead complex business analysis, define functional requirements, design solutions and mentor less experienced team members.
  • You will act as a team leader, Product Owner, a Scrum Master or business architect as needed by the project.
  • You will supervise analytical works across multiple teams on a project.
  • You will build lasting relationships with the clients' key personnel and leadership.
  • You will work closely with software developers and IT architects on a daily basis.
  • You will lead your own area in the company, supported by an experienced supervisor.
  • You will support B2B sales activities.

About the Requirements

  • You need at least 5 years of professional experience in IT projects for the financial sector, preferably insurance or bancassurance in an international environment.
  • You need at least 4 years of experience in Guidewire systems implementation.
  • You need to understand how insurance companies or banks work, having comprehensive, in-depth understanding of relevant processes and business models.
  • You need experience in the functional design of IT solutions and running IT implementations.
  • You need to be creative, resourceful, and proactive in finding solutions to complex problems.
  • You need ability to ensure quality of the deliverables of your team, by applying analytical thinking and synthesis skills.
  • You need ability to demonstrate team management skills and take responsibility for team results.
  • You need ability to work in Japan on a full-time basis.
  • You need at least a bachelor's degree.
  • You need great command of English (over TOEIC 900) and Japanese (over N1 level), being fully confident collaborating with English native speakers.
  • You need show interest in supporting business development activities in Japan.

About the Wishes

  • Nice to have experience working in implementation-related or strategic consulting, especially in the fields of insurance or bancassurance.
  • Nice to have ability to build lasting and positive relationships with the client stakeholders and C-Level representatives.
  • Nice to have additional languages.
  • Nice to have experience working with Clients abroad, traveling up to 50% of your work time.
