Job Title – Sr. Manager, Delivery   

Create and manage an overall project plan including budget, schedule and resources for one or more o9 engagements. Monitor and report progress and changes against the plan. Ensure successful implementation by motivating and directing a cross-functional project team comprising software vendors, customers, o9 and partners. Act as primary interface with the client regarding deliverables, changes, and sign-off on status.

What you'll do for us…

• Participate in the complete lifecycle of projects from blueprint to hyper care.
• Create a detailed project plan and align all stakeholders on the jointly developed project plan, milestones, and timelines.
• Track plan vs. actuals and document the reasons for any deviations. Develop action plan to mitigate any delays.
• Provide detailed project status to all stakeholders on the agreed upon cadence.
• Document vacation schedules for all team members.
• Approve all timesheets and invoices in a timely manner.
• Complete any project management and administration tasks required by the client.
• Ensure each team member knows the tasks and deliverables they must work on.
• Document any risks and work with stakeholders to develop mitigation plans.
• Maintain a detailed issue log with appropriate ETA, ownership and resolution.
• Provide necessary knowledge transition and documentation to o9 support team post go-live.
• Continually engage with the customers to manage priorities and expectations.
• Ensure timely communication with regards to any project or personnel concerns.

What you'll have...

Experience:

• 6 – 15 years of experience implementing business applications like supply chain planning solutions or working in the supply chain/ logistics domain with a focus on planning
• Project Management experience through the full lifecycle of a solution implementation including business requirement gathering, solution design & development, UAT/SIT, and deployment
• Experience using agile methodology to deliver enterprise implementations

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of project management principles and artifacts is a must.
• Knowledge of supply chain solutions is a plus but not mandatory.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of project management software (Microsoft Project, JIRA etc.), spreadsheet (Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets), document processing (Microsoft Word, Google Docs), presentation (Microsoft PowerPoint) is required.
• Strong verbal, written, presentation and demonstration in both English and Japanese are required.
• Ability to work in teams, distributed across locations and time zones.
