Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in technology business or business development at a Business-to-Business (B2B) software company.
  • Experience in developing cloud or Information Technology (IT) solutions.
  • Ability to communicate in Japanese fluently as this is a customer-facing role that requires interactions with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in promoting infrastructure software, databases and tools, or applications software in the telecom industry.
  • Experience in managing partners in implementation projects, including global system integrators and packaged software vendors.
  • Experience working in business and legal agreements with Procurement, Legal, and Business teams.

In this role, you will inspire customers to transform and evolve their business through the use of Google's global network, web scale data centers, and software infrastructure. You will help businesses use technology to connect with customers, employees, and partners. You will guide our Account team, with the focus to develop relationships across the company and continue the adoption of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with enterprise customers, influence direction, and serve as a business partner.
  • Manage entire cycles, presenting to C-level executives in corporate and global customers.
  • Guide account strategy in generating and developing business growth opportunities, work with customer engineers, and Google partners, creating new opportunities.
  • Understand each customer's technology footprint, growth plans, business motivators, technology strategy, and engaged landscape.
  • Motivate business development, forecast, and achieve goals by guiding customers through the entire business cycle.
