Position Summary:

Join our team as FP&A Manager Japan and work closely with the Japan Commercial business. You'll play a key role in budgeting, planning, and forecasting, providing valuable insights to enhance the team's understanding of business performance. Your responsibilities will include managing the financial aspects of the Japan Commercial P&L, collaborating with key stakeholders, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Annual Commercial Business Plan Preparation
  • Support Monthly forecasting of Japan Commercial P&L, Working Capital, Headcount, Installed Base
  • Monthly Report and Analysis of Orders, Sales, Margin, Pricing, and communication to business leaders
  • Monthly Report and Analysis of OPEX and Operating efficiencies
  • Provide pricing analytics support to Japan Sales & Service leaders
  • Assist in the monthly financial closing process and JE preparation
  • Drive Control over Japan Commercial / Operation Process
  • Regular update of KPIs and support new KPI's introduction
  • AR/Credit Management for business growth vs Risk Control & Cash Generation
  • Provide Financial Analysis Support to Ad-Hoc Projects
  • Analysis and insight on key competitors
  • Organize and prioritize workload efficiently

Education:

Bachelor's Degree

Years of Related Experience:

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in FP&A in US MNC

- 5+ years at managerial level is preferable

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Certifications/Licenses, and Affiliations:

- Proficiency in Excel, Hyperion, and Microsoft Office. SAP knowledge required

- Experience with BI tools is a plus

- Proactive approach to propose and implement improvements

- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Fluent in English and Japanese
