Now Hiring: English Language Instructors for Government Officials' Training in Meguro-ku, Tokyo
Are you an experienced English instructor looking for an opportunity to teach government officials in Japan? We are currently seeking highly skilled instructors to provide beginner to advanced-level English language training in Meguro-ku, Tokyo. This is a face-to-face training program designed to prepare participants for assignments abroad.
About the Training Program
Location:Air Self-Defense Force Officer School Meguro Base
< Address > 2-2-1 Nakameguro, Meguro-ku, Tokyo
< Access > It is about a 7-minute walk from the west exit of JR Ebisu Station or exit 5 of the subway/Tokyo Metro Ebisu Station to the main gate of the Meguro district of the Ministry of Defense, and then about an 8-minute walk from the main gate to the Air Self-Defense Force Officer Training School.

Training time
8:40-10:20
Class Structure:
- In-person instruction
- Each class will have nine lessons of 100 minutes each, for a total of 15 hours.
- 7-9 students per class
Participants: beginner to advanced-level learners
Requirements (Must-Have Qualifications)
Native English speaker
Basic Japanese communication skills (for daily interactions)
TESOL, TEFL, TESL or equivalent qualifications
4-year university degree equivalent
Currently holds a valid Japanese work visa (Visa sponsorship is generally not available, but exceptional candidates may be considered)
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly Wage:
(1)¥1,700 per hour, Up to 2,000 yen round trip
or
(2)¥2,000 per hour included the transport (You can choose)
In-person instruction only – No remote options
