About the Company / Role:

An industry-leading consumer goods company is seeking a proactive Financial Controller with a growth mindset who is interested in transitioning into a future CFO role.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead business and financial analysis, including monthly rolling forecasts in coordination with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Conduct P&L and variance analysis, identifying key drivers and trends in costs, pricing, and profitability.
  • Evaluate marketing and trade spending to ensure investments generate appropriate returns.
  • Oversee the monthly accounting close with the shared service center, including accruals, IFRS adjustments, and group reporting.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems, and prepare key financial reports.

Requirements:

  • Advanced Excel and SAP expertise, with strong knowledge of P&L structure and financial modeling.
  • At least 3 years of experience managing FP&A responsibilities including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Highly professional, ethical, and reliable, demonstrating strong ownership and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communicator and team player; able to work independently and collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Native-level Japanese and strong English proficiency; comfortable communicating with regional and global teams.
