Overview
The Financial Controller is required to perform many varied tasks both accurately and in a timely manner including strategic support to Business Leaders. You will have access to private and confidential information; such information must be kept in the strictest confidence at all times. The following responsibilities cover various specific deliverables of day to day, month end, reporting and budget tasks that will need to be performed. This list is not exhaustive and additional projects or tasks may be requested from time to time.

Responsibilities
The key accountabilities are, but not limited to:

Compliance

• Ensure compliance with Publicis Groupe operational and financial policies and processes as detailed in Janus.
• Execute Strategies to enforce internal controls and manage implementation.
• Manage Internal, External, FMC and Client Audits to ensure completeness and compliance, implementing feedback when required into Company's practices.

Financial Reporting

• Maintain Accountability for practices conducted by Re:Sources and Agency Finance Team.
• Manage Month End Review and submission to Groupe; HFM Review.
• Manage preparation of Annual Commit and Reforecast submissions, ensuring accurate forecasting and input into HFM.
• Ensure Re:Sources performs daily and month end functions to the required standard

Client Finance

• Manage Financial and Administrative aspects of Client Accounts, including budgeting and ensuring contractual requirements are adhered to and meet required reporting deadlines.
• Working with Client lead and Finance Manager to support the improvement of Client Account Profitability, proactively seeking ways to organically grow the business or improve profitability in adherence with contractual obligations.
• Identify and communicate any risk and scope issues associated with client accounts.

Business Optimisation

• Partner with Brand leadership team to ensure smart business/commercial decisions are executed to deliver financial success.
• Provide advice on how to improve business situations, increasing revenue, reducing costs and accelerating cash collection from clients.
• Manage Company risk to FX exposure, working with Treasury to execute Hedging.
• Support all departments for all financial and operational issues.
• Identify opportunities to create efficiencies, streamline processes and leverage resources to reduce costs wherever possible.
• Translating cost reduction strategies into operation by managing communication and implementation.
• Build positive relationships with all Publicis Team Leaders - regular and open communication.
• Support all HR/Talent related matters
• Provide leadership during systems migrations and business process changes (including AI related efficiencies)

Qualifications
Experience/Qualifications

• Good knowledge of the industry (essential), agency media preferred
• CA/CPA qualified (desirable but not essential)
• Strong communicator with an ability to build effective working relationships with key business leaders and stakeholders (essential)
• Proven Management skills (essential)
• Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills (essential)

Skills (including Technology)

• Has worked with a Media System- essential
• Hyperion (HFM) desirable
• Pegasus, SAP or similar ERP
• Excel (Intermediate to expert level), Sharepoint, Teams
• English / Japanese - Business level
