Department Profile
Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM) is one of the largest global asset management organizations of any full-service securities firm, with 45 offices serving clients in 19 countries. MSIM's professionals worldwide provide outstanding long-term investment performance. We offer clients a diverse array of equity, fixed income, liquidity and alternative investments, including real asset strategies.
Responsibilities
- Develop long-term/short-term business development strategy for own products
- Promote own products to sales on a regular basis and ensure frequent sales activities
- Promotion and servicing to clients
- Liaise with investment teams and other relevant teams in other offices
- Take ownership of own products not only about investment but fund/IMA set-up, operations issues, etc.
- Develop marketing / servicing materials with product marketing team
The candidate will work with senior Portfolio specialists in alternative Products including Private Equity and Credit, Real Asset, Hedge Funds and Muti Assets Solution.
Reporting Line
Reporting into the head of Product Development and Strategy for MSIM Japan or one of Senior Alternative product Specialist
Typical Qualifying Background
- Have interest in becoming a product specialist, a portfolio manager, and/or sales
- Experience of covering equities, fixed-income and multi-asset products as sales or analytical research

- Strong Japanese and English ability
- Team worker and credible communicator
- Strong will to add value
