Job Description: This role plays a critical part in providing financial leadership and ensuring key financial control within the IT organization. The main responsibilities include driving financial processes, supporting financial decisions, and ensuring financial governance, particularly for Infra financials.
- To manage financial control for Infra financials, involving a yearly plan of $85m and processing hundreds of transactions monthly.
- The position's importance is highlighted by the complexity and high volume of financial transactions within MLJ IT, especially concerning Infra.
- Tasks include handling various financial systems, accruals, transfer prices, assets, expenses, pre-paid accounts, budgeting, and analysis.
- Collaboration with IT team leaders, finance controllers, regional/US teams, and external auditors is essential in building financial reports.
Requirements: Key competencies for this role include relevant experience, skill sets, and bilingual communication abilities.
- Experience: Financial Planning & Analysis and/or Accounting with a minimum of 5 years experience.
- Skills: Proficiency in financial and accounting practices, bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English, and effective communication skills to engage with diverse backgrounds.
- Preferable: Experience in IT finance, particularly in developing accounting processes in Agile environments and IT cost billing.
- Qualifications: Holding a US CPA/MBA qualification is preferred.
- Language: Proficiency in Japanese and English.
- Personality: Seeking individuals with a collaborative attitude, a commitment to delivering outcomes collectively, and a mindset focused on continuous learning.
■ Terms of Employment:
- Annual Salary: Commensurate with experience and skills.
- Wage Payment: Monthly.
- Working Hours: 09:00-17:00 (7 working hours per day with a 1-hour break), overtime work is required.
- Holidays: 121 days including weekends, national holidays, and year-end/New Year holidays. Paid leave ranges from 5 to 10 days depending on the starting date. Additional leaves include funeral and special leaves for 5 consecutive days.
- Working Location: Kinshicho/Kioicho/Otemachi.
- Commuting Allowance: Provided according to company policies.
- Retirement Allowance: Available (details confirmed under 'Other').
- Dormitory/Company-owned house: Depends on hiring conditions.
