The Job

You will be responsible for :

  • Brainstorm with the game design team on game concepts, design aspects, and requirements.
  • Collaborate with programmers to establish deadlines and work schedules.
  • Choose appropriate game frameworks, and turn ideas into clear, effective code.
  • Create and test gameplay concepts and features.
  • Develop game storyboards and scripts, as well as inanimate objects and characters.

The Profile

Required

  • Experience as a game engineer
  • Must be a foreign national (not Japanese citizen) residing in Japan and is a passer of JLPT N1, N2, N3. Candidates who are not JLPT passers but their level of Japanese communication is at the level of N1, N2 and N3 will be considered.(Note: N4 and N5 JLPT Levels and passers as well as those candidate not currently in Japan will not be considered)

Preferably

  • Love of games.
  • Knowledge of mathematics and physics required for 3D game creation and development experience
  • Experience in server development for social games
  • Experience with cloud computing (AWS, etc.)
