Role Overview

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will support the delivery of construction and workplace projects across all phases. You will assist in planning, coordination, documentation, and stakeholder communication to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Project Support & Coordination

• Assist in the delivery of project management services throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct background research, data collection, and benchmarking to support decision-making.
• Establish and maintain effective project documentation and reporting systems.
• Support the development and updating of detailed project plans and schedules.

Monitoring & Reporting

• Track project progress and performance indicators; prepare updates and reports.
• Manage change control processes and maintain accurate change logs.
• Draft formal progress reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Engagement
• Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Attend project meetings and produce accurate and timely meeting minutes.
• Support communication flow between internal and external teams.

プロジェクトサポート・調整業務

・プロジェクトライフサイクル全体にわたるプロジェクトマネジメント業務のサポート

・意思決定を支援するためのリサーチ、データ収集、ベンチマーキングの実施

・プロジェクト関連ドキュメントおよびレポーティング体制の構築・管理

・詳細なプロジェクト計画およびスケジュールの作成・更新サポート

進捗管理・レポーティング

・プロジェクト進捗およびKPIの管理、各種進捗レポートの作成

・変更管理プロセスのサポートおよび変更履歴(チェンジログ)の管理

・ステークホルダー向けの正式な進捗報告書およびプレゼンテーション資料の作成

ステークホルダー対応

・クライアント、施工会社、コンサルタントなど関係者との連携

・プロジェクト会議への参加および正確かつタイムリーな議事録作成

・社内外チーム間の円滑なコミュニケーション支援

資格

Qualifications

• Professionally qualified in one of the following fields: construction, project management, engineering, surveying, and architecture or information technology.
• Qualifications in Project Management / Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent knowledge and experience is welcome
• A thorough understanding of the total project life cycle, from project conception stage, through all of the operational stages to completion and post-project review.
• Design, management or construction experience gained within the general construction environment.
• Experience of leading project management commissions for medium, large, sized construction projects of medium to high complexity.
• Direct experience in negotiating with regulatory agencies regarding departures from building code and construction change orders.
• A minimum of 2 years relevant experience in construction industry
• Business level English and Japanese required

• プロジェクトマネジメント/電気工学/機械工学、または同等の知識・経験をお持ちの方は歓迎
• プロジェクトの企画段階から、各運用フェーズ、完了および事後レビューに至るまで、プロジェクトライフサイクル全体に対する深い理解
• 一般的な建設環境における設計、マネジメント、または施工経験
• 中〜大規模、かつ中〜高難易度の建設プロジェクトにおけるプロジェクトマネジメント業務を主導した経験
• 建築基準からの逸脱や工事変更(チェンジオーダー)に関し、規制当局との折衝を行った実務経験
• 建設業界における実務経験2年以上
• 英語および日本語ともにビジネスレベル必須
