Onomichi AESC
Position Summary

The Senior Total Rewards role supports the delivery of total rewards programs including compensation operations, benefits administration, global job architecture implementation (position leveling and job matching), market benchmarking, and equity participation programs such as ESOP/ESPP.

This role also supports international mobility operations by coordinating expatriate/assignee processes and ensuring policy compliance, personnel cost reports, and employee experience.

The role partners with HRBPs, Payroll, Finance, Legal, and global Total Rewards and global Mobility teams to ensure consistent execution and high-quality governance.

Key Responsibilities
1) Compensation Operations & Annual Cycle Support
Support annual compensation cycle activities (merit, promotion, bonus/incentive, allowances review).
Prepare compensation case materials for new hire offers, internal transfers, and special adjustments.
Maintain accurate compensation data and approval trail; ensure compliance with pay governance.
Coordinate with Payroll to ensure timely and accurate TR inputs.

2) Global Job Architecture Implementation Support (Leveling & Job Matching)
Support position leveling and job matching under global job architecture framework:
collect job information (JD, responsibilities, organization context)
propose job matches to global job families/sub-families
prepare leveling materials for calibration sessions and approvals
Maintain documentation and tracking log of leveling decisions, rationale, and outcomes.
Support communications and training material updates (guides, FAQs, process notes).

3) External Market Survey & Benchmarking Operations

Support annual market survey participation (Mercer/WTW/Radford or equivalent):
job match mapping and survey submission data preparation
QA checks on employee pay data and benchmark role mapping

Prepare market competitiveness summaries:
pay positioning vs market benchmarks
pay ranges / allowance review insights (as requested by manager)

Support internal analysis:
compa-ratio distribution, pay equity indicators, hot skills analysis.

4) Equity Programs (ESOP / ESPP) Operation Support

Support end-to-end operations of equity participation programs:
eligibility validation, enrollment campaigns, employee communications
payroll deduction and reconciliation, joiner/leaver handling
Coordinate with external administrators/brokers and internal Finance/Payroll for data exchange and reporting.
Maintain program calendar, process documents, and FAQ to improve employee experience.

5) International Mobility / Expatriate Support

Support mobility operations for expatriates / international assignees:
policy-based allowance calculations (housing, education, relocation, travel)
coordinate visa, relocation vendor, tax vendor, and assignee onboarding/offboarding steps
Coordinate with Payroll/Finance for mobility-related payment setup, deductions, and cost charging.
Track mobility cases, maintain assignee data, and ensure documentation compliance.
Support periodic review of mobility benefits competitiveness and policy improvement proposals.

6) Executive Compensation Support (Preparation & Analytics)

Support preparation of executive/officer compensation materials:
benchmarking data collection and structured comparisons
executive comp proposal draft support (tables, scenario comparisons)

7) Benefits Administration Support (as assigned)
Support benefits administration tasks such as enrollment/change processing, vendor coordination, and cost tracking.
Support employee inquiries and case resolution for pay/benefit topics with confidentiality.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Finance, Economics, or related discipline.
3–5 years HR experience with strong exposure to Total Rewards / C&B / HR operations.
Strong analytical and operational skills; advanced Excel preferred (pivot, xlookup, data cleansing).
Experience working with Payroll and HRIS data (SAP).
Strong attention to detail and governance mindset.
Ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and stakeholder needs.

Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to global job leveling/job matching initiatives.
Experience supporting market benchmarking/salary surveys.
Experience supporting ESOP/ESPP operations or equity/stock purchase programs.
Exposure to international mobility operations (allowances, relocation, vendor coordination).
Experience in multinational environment and cross-cultural stakeholder management.
