Application Support, IT Operations, and Application Management
.
These roles work closely with global teams and support mission-critical insurance systems used nationwide.

① IT Support Services Consultant
(アプリケーション運用保守 / サポートエンジニア職)
- Ensure stable operations of core insurance business applications and maintain system health.
- Lead BAU support activities (incident / problem / change management) and coordinate vendors.
- Monitor systems, manage updates, handle cybersecurity remediation, and support documentation.
- L20 roles include
AI-driven monitoring
,
toil automation
,
root-cause analysis
, and
post-mortem processes
. - Japanese required; English reading/writing sufficient.
② IT Support Manager
(ITサポートマネージャー / 運用リード)
- Oversee application reliability, uptime, incident management, and SLO/SLA governance.
- Lead adoption of AI/ML for monitoring, analytics, and automation across support teams.
- Conduct blameless postmortems, manage error budgets, and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with global engineering, security, infra, and business stakeholders.
- Requires leadership experience + ITSM + observability tooling knowledge.
③ Application Manager
(アプリケーションマネージャー)
- Manage multiple business applications end-to-end, ensuring stable operation and lifecycle management.
- Guide vendors in enhancements, change management, incident response, and feature rollout.
- Support business users, coordinate with global support teams, and drive new application adoption.
- Ideal for candidates with
application maintenance + development experience

Common Requirements Across Roles
- Experience in
application support, development, or IT operations
. - Ability to coordinate with global teams and manage vendors.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills in Japanese; English welcome.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Incident/problem/change management
- Monitoring / logs / performance analysis
- (Preferred) Java, AWS, Angular, scripting (Python/Bash), or IaC tools for higher-level roles.
- Insurance industry experience is a plus.
