SEHLKE POSITION TITLE:  SME III-SME IV

LOCATION:  III MEF (Okinawa), on-client site.

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

Sehlke Consulting is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill a Middle Logistics Analyst position to support the III MEF in Okinawa Japan. 

Duties and expectations include, but are not limited to the following:

• Assist in streamlining processes to increase Logistics and Supply Chain posture (e.g., assisting in attaining sustainment for asset accountability, etc.)
• Draft and/or update Supply policies in accordance with current regulations. Provide amplifying guidance to intermediate and using units in the execution of polices
• Validate inventory levels/processes in accordance with existing regulations
• Conduct analysis on various Table of Authorized Material Control Number end items
• Perform root cause analysis for exceptions and anomalies within the supply and maintenance readiness programs
• Analyze equipment deficiencies and provide corrective action recommendations or mitigation measures to fill capability gaps
• Analyze excess and obsolete equipment and provide recommendations to divest in order to conserve sustainment and maintenance resources
• Conduct analysis of property records to ensure accurate accountability is reported
• Provide guidance and organizational control of assets scheduled to be reallocated in support of operations
• Provide training updates relevant to analysis for unit-level leaders in the execution of current Logistics and Supply Chain processes and procedures
• Processes data and prepares cost/schedule performance reports
• Provide equipment status reports to III MEF leadership
• Coordinate materiel readiness responses to external tasking or queries; provide guidance and assistance to III MEF MSCs regarding supply, maintenance, and sustainment budget policy/procedures
• Working with a Financial Management team look for Robotic Process Automation opportunities to assist the III MEF client automate laborious processes
• Conduct organizational risk estimates as it pertains to equipment readiness and sustainment fiscal posture

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:  Secret clearance required at start

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: 

Mandatory: N/A, Recommended: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Management, SCM

Waiverable/Substitutable: An additional 4 years of relevant experience can be substituted for degree

Certification: CDFM/CPA preferred but not required

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:  8+ years of experience at a using unit in logistics and financial management. General working knowledge of the following systems and associated reports: DAI, ARC Tool, GCSS-MC, SYNCADA, DTS, G-Invoicing, PIEE/WAWF, MICRR, TLCM-OST, WebVLips, CEDMS, LDG, STORES, and DMLSS.
