As a Senior Field Applications Engineer, this is your chance to be a true innovator, introducing modern Siemens CICV AMS/Solido platforms to top Japanese companies and revolutionising their design environments.
Beyond a deep knowledge of circuit simulation and library characterisation, you can leverage your expertise in specialised areas, such as transceivers, high-speed I/O, standard cells, and SRAM, to transform customers' problems into solutions – experiencing immense job satisfaction.
You'll closely collaborate with customers, as well as our internal sales and R&D teams, acting as a bridge to co-create future technologies.
From technical evaluations to training and tool adoption support, you'll hone your skills through a wide range of tasks, contributing to customer growth and, in turn, Siemens' growth.

Being a Trusted Advisor:
Serve as the primary technical interface for assigned customers, building strong relationships based on value and expertise.
Driving Technical Success:
Conduct effective technical evaluations, certifications, and assessments to ensure successful tool adoption.
Empowering Customers:
Deliver comprehensive training and integration support, helping customers improve the potential of our CICV AMS/Solido platforms.
Collaborating & Innovating:
Work closely with sales to achieve territory targets and act as a crucial bridge between customers and our R&D teams, influencing future product development.
Solving Complex Challenges:
Provide expert sales and technical support for simulators and Liberty analysis tools, proposing and implementing innovative solutions.
Sharing Knowledge:
Create product documentation and present at seminars, showcasing the power of Siemens' solutions.
Your success is grounded in
Technical Depth:
Proven experience in Custom IC circuit design or CAD.
EDA Tool Proficiency:
Hands-on experience with SPICE simulators (e.g., AES, Eldo, Hspice, Spectre) or Liberty Library design experience or CAD support experience.
System Savviness:
Experience using UNIX systems.
Problem-solving skills: A curiosity to understand complex technical issues and develop practical solutions.
Interpersonal Skills:
Ability to communicate intricate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
Language proficiency:
Japanese – JLPT N2 or higher (essential for customer engagement in Japan). English – intermediate or business level (for collaboration with global teams).
