Job Description
Demand Plan Data Management:
- Manage 0-2 year component forecast volumes, through analysis and regular updates using IHS (S&P) data as a third-party production forecaster source.
- Drive forecast accuracy through use of KPI's, as well as, the incorporation of business insight, analysis, and developed measurables.
- Manage component price within the forecast, through analysis and regular updates from SAP & Pricing COE data.
- Support customer teams and Program Approval process with the creation of Return Maps for targeted business.
- Maintain component-program attributes in Long Range Forecasting System
Periodic Forecast Reporting
- Provide monthly and quarterly reporting of volume and sales forecast information to help drive accurate and timely business decisions.
- Support the Supply Chain organization with long range forecasting data to drive strategy and capacity planning
- Provide Market Share / vehicle application analysis
- Support short term forecast activities with regular analysis of EDI release/forecasting information as it relates to the internal forecast.
- Lead monthly Forecasting Meeting with sales teams through use of aggregated forecast information.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analysis preferably within the automotive or electronics industry.
- Proven ability to translate market and customer data into accurate demand forecasts Experience with forecasting tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Kinaxis RapidResponse, or equivalent)
- Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data modeling) and familiarity with Power BI or other visualization tools
- Working knowledge of IHS Light Vehicle Production, EDI, or SDSA data preferred
- Fluent in Japanese and English, with strong cross-cultural communication skills
- Experience working in a global matrix environment collaborating across Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain teams
