Department Overview
To provide high-quality mobile communication services at reasonable prices, Rakuten Mobile is the fourth MNO (mobile network operator) approved in Japan for the first time in 13 years. In August 2021, it exceeded 5 million lines and is growing rapidly.
Full-scale provision of services to corporations began in January 2023, and large-scale investments are being made as core businesses that will support the growth of the Rakuten Group in the future.
This organization will be a department that provides mobile services for corporate customers. We are currently preparing for a full-fledged start and will participate in the business as a core member of the business expansion.
Addressing customer challenges through a combination of hardware and software solutions, we aim to engage customers with hardware devices that meet their demands. Overall, we strive to enhance revenue and contribute to the business by providing services. Additionally, by smoothly managing the logistics of the devices, we ensure the timely delivery of the desired devices to customers.

Position Details
You will be responsible for the business planning position.
The business planning position will be asked to build a solution business based on tangible products such as smartphones and IoT devices, among the solution sales that are occupied for the growth of carrier business sales. The scope of work includes creating a product for the sales department to sell, and then delivering the product to the customer. For example, you will be building a solution from scratch that can be sold to corporate customers by utilizing drive recorders equipped with SIM cards.

Working environment
The Corporate Business Division has around 400 people. Within this, the Device Solutions & Logistics Section acts as a sales back office and is responsible for product planning, process construction, and operational execution for tangible products. Therefore, we are looking for people who can plan and manage operations. We have many young members, and we are looking for someone who likes to proactively guide planning and further improve work together with them.
Rakuten Mobile Service itself is a new service within Rakuten, and existing and mid-career employees are working together to boost the business. Particularly in the industry in which mid-career employees join our company, members come from a variety of backgrounds, including the communications industry, manufacturers, trading companies, and venture businesses.A14
Mandatory Qualifications:
