Based in Tokyo, this pivotal role bridges business strategy and technology execution, managing the full lifecycle of consumer-facing and internal applications.

You'll be the IT Business Partner for Japan, collaborating with global teams while leading local implementation of e-commerce platforms, mobile apps, omni-channel solutions, ERP systems, and critical back-end systems including logistics, order management, and supply chain applications.

The Role
Lead planning and execution of application initiatives including e-commerce, mobile apps, omni-channel retail, ERP systems, logistics, order management, and supply chain solutions
Manage one direct report, external vendors, and cross-functional project teams to deliver strategic implementations and daily operational support
Partner with business stakeholders and global IT teams to transform business requirements into scalable technology solutions
Serve as Japan IT Business Partner and single point of escalation for strategic and critical tactical issues
Respond to shifting market dynamics, mitigate project risks, and re-prioritize initiatives in collaboration with senior leadership
Foster knowledge exchange between Japan, Asia-Pacific, and global headquarters to share best practices and drive innovation
Drive operational excellence through process improvements and emerging technology implementation
Your Skills
7+ years of IT project management experience implementing consumer-facing and internal enterprise systems
Advanced expertise in e-commerce platforms, CRM, B2C/B2B commerce, retail, and ERP systems
Deep experience with supply chain, logistics, order management systems, and front-end to back-end integrations
5+ years in a project management role or small team leadership with management of vendors, budgets, and cross-functional project teams
Bilingual fluency in English and Japanese (written and verbal) is mandatory
Strong stakeholder management, consulting, and negotiation skills in global, matrixed environments
