About the team:
We are R&D team for Passenger cars chassis products located in Yokohama and Hiroshima to support closely for JOEMs. One of our main products is vehicle suspension damper, which have been receiving very well reputation from customer/market hence growing Damper business globally. Let's work together with touching state of art technology and share accomplishment together.
What you can look forward as Damper Hardware Application Engineer:
- Support & secure state of the art customer suspension technology under specific consideration of customer requirements.
- Coordination of the ongoing development projects as a hardware application engineer as working with product line teams and customers on a global basis.
- Monitoring and coordinating the project/engineering deliverables as establishing engineering related timing plan and engineering team structure.
- On-site partner to provide technical support and expertise for the customer.
- Coordination of the technical issues within the framework of the project scope.
- Management of technical issues with active reporting regarding the development status to Tech Center.
- Support prototype preparation in engineering area.
- Support Quality team in engineering area for better solution in claim handling.
Your Profile as Damper Application Engineer:
- Degree in engineering, preferably in science, mechanical engineering, or related fields.
- 3 years of professional experience in the automotive industry (experience in developing vehicle chassis systems preferred).
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, including production, prototyping, and testing.
- Basic know-how related to chassis component products.
- Willingness to acquire technical knowledge on advanced suspension systems, mechanisms, and related products.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address issues during the development phase.
- Business-level Japanese and English (oral and written).
- Strong communication skills, global interpersonal skills, attention to detail, intercultural understanding, and willingness to travel frequently.
