Drive the growth of SmartNews' ads business by boosting revenue from top agencies like Dentsu and Hakuhodo.
The Agency Sales Director will develop and execute business growth strategies in collaboration with sales operations, marketing, product, engineering, and other key stakeholders.
- Grow sales by driving revenue from Dentsu and Hakuhodo.
- Develop and own business growth strategies and its execution.
- Build and grow the FAS group, hire, manage, and develop a high-performing team.
- Establish strong relationships with top agencies.
- Create scalable sales mechanisms to accommodate advertiser growth.
- Collaborate with Ad Products and other departments to enhance offerings based on customer feedback.
Requirements
- 10+ years of sales experience in digital ads related agencies or industry.
- Proven track record of delivering results.
- Experience with C-level engagement with major advertisers in Japan.
- 5+ years of experience managing large sales teams (10+ members).
- 5+ years of experience in hiring and talent development.
- Native-level Japanese and Business-level English.
- Ability to acquire new customers and manage relationships.
