You will serve as a strong inspirational leader with the ability to create results and drive the company's security and safety agenda in Northeast Asia, specifically in Japan and Korea. You will identify, assess, and analyze potential risks that may negatively impact the business and ensure business continuity.
As a key member of the Sales Market team, you will motivate, inspire, and drive others to comply with company security and safety policies and procedures. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to work effectively with people at all levels, contributing to the company's meaningful growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive security initiatives by influencing behavior through effective leadership, aiming to achieve the right level of security within the sales market organization.
- Contribute to and sustain a healthy and safe working environment throughout the business operation by fostering a strong health and safety culture.
- Analyze main KPIs, initiate actions to increase profit, and balance long-term and short-term plans while minimizing external or internal threat exposure through an effective crisis management program and training.
- Work proactively with H&M group technology and people, continuously seeking better ways to protect customers' experience while maintaining great customer satisfaction.
- Regularly identify, assess, and evaluate risks to minimize external or internal threats to our business.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should have relevant safety and security experience, with a proven track record of driving results and achieving goals.
What you need to succeed:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field, with certifications like CPP, PSP, APP, and PMP preferred.
- Fluency in Japanese and English, with deep knowledge of security, compliance, health & safety, and legislation in Japan and Korea.
- At least 5 years of experience in security management or equivalent.
- Strong policy implementation and compliance expertise, ensuring adherence to established guidelines.
- Strategic leadership and exceptional organizational skills, with experience working in highly matrixed organizations.
Additional Information:
This is a full-time position directly reporting to the Sales Manager NEA and functionally reporting to the Regional Head of Security & Compliance for Region East Asia. The position is based in Japan.
