Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with digital transformation using cloud-based solutions, managing initiatives across engineering, sales, support, professional services and distributed teams.
- Experience in program management, client service, or management consulting.
- Ability to communicate in English and Japanese fluently as this is a customer-facing role that requires interactions in English and Japanese.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Recognized industry certifications/accreditation in project management theory and methods.
- Experience working with a cross-functional, geographically dispersed team and customer base, and collaborating with channel partners, systems integrators, and third-party developers to deliver high-impact solutions.
- Experience leveraging quantitative assessment and analysis for decision-making/prioritization and collaboration.
- Understanding of cloud marketplace and the differentiators of various cloud offerings.
- Ability to work in ambiguous environments and define a path to resolution.

As a Cloud Program Manager, you will identify, organize, and lead program activities and stakeholders in order to deliver business, operational, or technical improvements, with clear systems to measure improvements, optimizations, and performance metrics. You will scope, phase, and lead cross-functional and cross-organizational issues including delivering downstream change management and working with the stakeholder team. You will advocate for the programs and ensure alignment of executive cross-functional and cross-organizational stakeholders. You will also engage in community contributions to improve and sustain our culture and operations.

Responsibilities
- Lead the project management of multi-functional Google Cloud Professional Services projects, covering program planning, delivery assurance and verification, tracking and reporting, and risk and mitigation planning.
- Manage the risks, issues, and actions for accounts and track them to meet expected outcomes and timelines, building mitigation plans as the program evolves.
- Manage the delivery quality of the delivery teams and resources when needed.
- Take various project and technical requirements and organize them into clear goals and objectives.
- Break down large projects/processes into sub-projects and sub-processes that can be executed by other teams or partners.
