PPA Manager / Officer

Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee project development and origination for renewable energy projects including solar, wind, and battery energy storage systems (BESS).
- Negotiate and execute Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and contracts with stakeholders to ensure project viability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize project planning and execution.
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis and feasibility studies to identify new project opportunities.
- Maintain relationships with clients, partners, and regulatory bodies to further business development.
- Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring compliance with deadlines and budgets.
- Provide strategic input for business development initiatives to enhance growth and sustainability.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of renewable energy markets and project development processes.
- Proficiency in PPA negotiations and energy contracts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze complex data and market trends to inform decision-making.
Desired Experience:
- 3-4 years of experience in renewable energy project development or related fields.
- Demonstrable experience in negotiating energy contracts and agreements.
- Previous involvement in solar, wind, or BESS projects is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of successful project management and execution.
