Automotive Safety Lead
Join a global team to lead functional safety requirement definition and management for semiconductor products in the automotive industry, ensuring ISO 26262 compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and manage functional safety requirements for next-gen products, collaborating with marketing and product design teams.
- Respond to leading customers' technical requirements.
- Develop and manage functional safety concepts for systems integrating multiple Renesas products.
- Create and manage databases for functional safety requirements.
Requirements:
- Fluent English and Japanese language skills.
- 3+ years of experience in ISO 26262 work product creation.
- 3+ years of experience in automotive product development.
- Basic knowledge of MCU/SoC products.
- Experience in customer discussions.
- Willingness to work in a global team with local/global travel.
Desired Qualifications:
- Leadership experience in automotive product development.
- Experience in system-level functional safety requirement creation (FSR and/or TSR).
- Experience working with global teams.
