Are you excited about helping shape the future of global satellite communications? Amazon Leo is seeking an experienced Partner Development Manager (PDM) to drive the technical enablement and integration of our strategic reseller partnerships.
In this role, you will own the end-to-end technical readiness of partners, ensuring they can effectively deploy, manage, and support Amazon Leo's satellite communication services while maintaining our high standards for customer experience.
As a PDM within Amazon Leo, you will have the exciting opportunity to help define and execute our partner integration strategy, working with leading telecommunications providers, managed service providers, and technology integrators to build scalable, enterprise-grade solutions.
You will drive technical partnership growth through structured enablement programs, systems integration, and operational excellence initiatives that maximize partner success and customer satisfaction.
Export Control Requirement:
This position may require access to information, technology, or hardware that is subject to export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
Employment in this position is contingent upon obtaining any required export licenses or other approvals from the United States government.

Develop comprehensive technical go-to-market strategies for partners, including service productization, operational requirements, and support model development
Drive partner technical readiness through structured enablement programs covering product knowledge, technical integration, and operational procedures
Coordinate cross-functional resources to support partner integration needs across engineering, operations, and support teams
Define and track technical success metrics while ensuring partners maintain high standards for service delivery and customer support
Create scalable technical frameworks and best practices that accelerate partner onboarding and time to market
Work backwards from customer and partner needs to influence product roadmap and technical requirements
A day in the life
As a Partner Development Manager, you'll collaborate with partners across multiple time zones, balancing strategic planning with hands-on technical enablement.
A typical day might include leading technical discovery workshops with a telecommunications provider's integration team, coordinating with internal engineering teams on API requirements, reviewing partner readiness metrics, and developing scalable onboarding frameworks.
You'll work closely with TPMs and TAMs to ensure seamless partner integration, while partnering with PAMs to align technical capabilities with business objectives.
The role requires the ability to switch between strategic planning and tactical execution, often supporting multiple partners at different stages of their onboarding journey.
Note:
This role requires up to 25% travel to support partner engagements and requires periodic international travel.

The Amazon Leo Commercial Partner (KCP) team owns the end-to-end partner experience for Amazon Leo's global reseller and sales agent networks.
The team combines technical expertise with business acumen to help partners successfully integrate, launch, and scale Amazon Leo services in their markets.
We work closely with product engineering, operations, and business teams to create scalable partner programs that drive Amazon Leo's mission of connecting the unconnected.
Our team manages structured partner journeys from initial engagement through commercial launch, implementing a comprehensive milestone framework that ensures consistent quality and readiness across technical, operational, and commercial dimensions.
We believe in working backwards from partner needs, maintaining high standards for customer experience, and continuously innovating to simplify partner operations.

Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Experience in problem solving and data analytics
Experience in communicating technically, at a level appropriate for the audience
8+ years of experience in technical partner enablement or systems integration
Deep understanding of telecommunications systems, OSS/BSS platforms, and network management solutions
Experience developing technical go-to-market strategies and partner enablement programs
Strong track record of managing complex technical integrations with enterprise partners
Excellence in stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership
Demonstrated ability to operate in ambiguous, rapidly changing environments
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a fast-paced environment similar to a high-tech start-up
Knowledge of AWS or cloud technologies
Experience with satellite communications or related telecommunications technologies
Experience with API integration and developer platforms
Track record of building scalable technical programs from scratch
International business experience and cultural awareness
MBA or advanced technical degree
Experience working in or with telecommunications providers in emerging markets
Demonstrated success in early-stage technology deployment and scaling
