**Brand Marketing Manager (Diabetes or Obesity)

Cardiometabolic Marketing Division

Your new role
You will be responsible for a range of activities to effectively market assigned products/services, such as overseeing product development and life cycle activities; overseeing advertising campaigns; and monitoring sales performance.

Your responsibilities will include:

Brand operational management

  • Manage all operational facets of the brand in charge including field implementation, peer-to-peer programming, and omnichannel marketing
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on planning and execution of brand tactics, ensuring delivery against financial targets
  • Ensure demand & supply management with supply chain team and product supply team.
  • Manage promotional investments in our NN financial process

Proactive participation to brand/commercial planning

  • Participate actively in brand planning and sales cycle (PoA) planning processes to endure implementation of brand tactics in charge.
  • Investigate issue/opportunity of the brand in charge from qualitative and quantitative available information and set clear insight to brand planning.

External collaborations

  • Ensure strategic alignment and operational collaborations with alliance partner.
  • Act as bridges between HQ and field with our alliance partner for maximize the brand value in charge.

Enterprise collaborative mind-set as CMMD brand manager

  • Actively participate in division-wide discussions.
  • Contribute with enterprise mindset beyond his/her own function
  • Proactively identify and engage in opportunities to enhance CMMD and the broader NNPL organization

Your new department
The Cardiometabolic Marketing Division (CMMD) at Novo Nordisk Japan is a dynamic team dedicated to maximizing the product's market presence and performance through strategic brand planning, data-driven insights, and strong collaboration with commercial, medical, and global partners. We combine marketing, analytics, agency management, and stakeholder engagement to drive sustainable growth, ensure compliance, and support product lifecycle management. Our team fosters a high-performance, supportive environment focused on innovation, impact, and continuous development.

Your Skills & Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of commercial experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Growth and learning mindset
  • Play to win mindset
  • Bachelor's degree in science, business, or other relevant fields
  • Advanced degree preferred (e.g. MBA)
  • Fluency in Japanese as mandatory and Fluency in English preferred.
