現場監督になるには?知っておきたい施工管理の資格やキャリアの進め方を解説【コラム】
建築工事をはじめとした現場で、工事が問題なく進行するように指揮・施工管理を担う「現場監督」。

現場監督に有利な資格とは?
現場監督になるために、取得必須の資格はありません。ただし工事現場の施工管理として活躍するには、資格取得が有利に働きます。
すべての工事現場に配置が義務付けられる「主任技術者」や特定建設業許可が必要な工事現場で配置が求められる「監理技術者」としてスキルアップするために、有効な資格を3種ご紹介します。
1級建築施工管理技士
建築施工管理技士は、国家資格である施工管理技士の一種で、住宅をはじめとしたさまざまな建築の現場で施工管理を担います。
中でも1級建築施工管理技士は扱える建築物に制限がなく、商業施設や競技施設など大規模な工事現場での管理業務も行えるのが特徴です。また1級建築施工管理技士の資格を保有していれば、主任技術者・監理技術者の両方を担うことができます。
国家試験の受験資格は、最終学歴または保有する資格に応じた年数の実務経験を積むことによって得られます。

2級建築施工管理技士
2級建築施工管理技士は、1級と業務内容に大きな違いはないものの扱える建築物は戸建て住宅をはじめとした中小規模のものに限られます。
2級建築施工管理技士の資格を保有していると、主任技術者を担うことができます。
国家試験については、1級建築施工管理技士の場合と同様に、最終学歴に応じた年数の実務経験を積むことで受験資格が得られます。

一級・二級建築士
建築士は、建築物の設計から工事監理、指導監督、行政手続き代行など建築にまつわる幅広い業務への従事が認められる国家資格です。
建築士資格には一級建築士・二級建築士・木造建築士の3種がありますが、一級建築士を取得すると監理技術者・主任技術者を、二級建築士を取得すると主任技術者を担当できます。

現場監督のキャリア選択
続いて現場監督のキャリアの描き方について、アイダ設計での例をもとにご紹介します。
ハウスメーカーなどへ施工管理として就職
建築施工管理技士や建築士の資格を保有していると就職の際に優遇される場合もありますが、未経験でも現場監督としてのキャリアを築いていくことは可能です。
まずはハウスメーカーや設計事務所、建設会社などに施工管理職として就職し、実務経験を積んでいくのが一般的です。業務内容は、施工計画を作成したり、現場での工程・安全・品質・原価の管理を行ったり。ほかにも工事を問題なく完了させるため近隣の住民の方とやりとりをしたり、現場を掃除したりすることも現場監督の仕事です。

1級建築施工管理技士を取得し、大規模プロジェクトを運用
1級建築施工管理技士の資格を取得することで、監理技術者としてより大規模な工事の現場に携わることができます。
現場では、高い技術力を持つ専任の技術者としてより責任のある仕事を任されるうに。全体のまとめ役として、業者や職人を含む作業員の配置や法令遵守の指導を行ったり、専門的な技術指導を行ったりと、活躍の場が広がります。
本部で施工管理部門のマネジメント
資格を取得して幅広い現場で経験を積んだのちに、本部で施工管理部門全体のマネジメントを担う選択肢もあります。
具体的には、チームメンバーの育成や進捗の管理を行ったり、複数の現場を巡回して安全管理や技術指導、調整業務を行ったり。一つの現場にとどまらずエリア全体、部門全体に目を向けて管理する能力が問われるポジションです。
