■ Your Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for a talented site reliability engineer to work in a cross functional team environment to deliver search services on our platform.
● Configuration, tuning and deployment of our search platform, as well as search services on it, operate search platforms safely to deliver the solution to our clients.
● Tailor and tune search services according to its users' requirements.
● Trouble shooting and investigating issues on the search platform.
● Continuously improve the operational workflow through automation.
● Continuously monitor and maintain our services within their SLAs.
● Act as a critical part of a multi-team effort to deliver, manage and maintain configuration automation to meet user requirements.
● Document, design various processes geared toward continuously improving our services.
■ Experience and Qualifications
● Minimum 5 years' experience with Linux/Unix systems.
● Good knowledge of system monitoring practice and tools.
● Experience in at least one container orchestration solution, e.g., K8s, Mesos etc.
● Good knowledge of CI/CD fundamentals (preferably in Jenkins)
● Master at least one scripting language, e.g., python, bash, etc.
● Good understanding of networking.
● Experience with data processing frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, etc.) is a plus.
