Role:
Onsite IT Support Engineer / IT Support Technician/Depot technician at Allied Digital Service, Japan
Location:
Shin-Kawasaki / Chiba
(Onsite only)
Salary : up to JPY 7.5 million/ year
Japanese Language N2 certified (mandatory)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform
PC/Laptop imaging and re-imaging
using standard corporate images and tools - Configure and deploy desktops, laptops, and peripherals for end users
- Manage
IT asset inventory
, including tracking, labeling, auditing, and updating records - Dispatch and receive IT assets
(laptops, desktops, monitors, accessories) through
ServiceNow - Update asset lifecycle status (in stock, assigned, returned, retired) in ServiceNow
- Coordinate with end users for device handover, replacement, and returns
- Provide basic
onsite technical support
(hardware, OS, peripherals, connectivity) - Troubleshoot issues related to imaging failures, hardware faults, and device setup
- Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and documentation requirements
- Work closely with remote IT teams and vendors for escalations and asset coordination
- Maintain a clean and organized IT storage and staging area
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of
Windows OS
and PC hardware - Experience with
PC imaging tools
(SCCM, MDT, Intune, or similar) - Hands-on experience with
ServiceNow
(Incidents, Requests, Asset Management) - Understanding of
IT asset lifecycle management - Good documentation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in an onsite support environment
- Basic knowledge of networking and peripherals (printers, monitors, docks)
Preferred Qualifications
- Must have JLPT N2 or native level Japanese skills
- Prior experience in
Onsite/Desktop Support
roles - IT certifications (ITIL, CompTIA A+, or similar)
- Experience working in corporate or enterprise IT environments
Work Environment
- Onsite role supporting office users
- May require lifting and moving IT equipment
- Interaction with end users, IT teams, and vendors in Japanese Language
