As a Digital & Mobile Performance Marketing Manager, your responsibilities include building strategic marketing programs, campaign development, channel engagement, product roadmap, and agency engagement for customer acquisition and mobile growth through paid marketing channels. Through audience understanding, data driven decision making, and passionate ownership of your marketing channels, you will optimize performance, maximize the efficiency and impact of this exciting growth area.

You will work closely with the global team, internal stakeholders, and agencies to define strategy to scale marketing programs. You will also design strategy to integrate Prime Video Marketing with your marketing channels so that we can deliver consistent message to our customers. You will have shown that you can work autonomously and be comfortable handling details. You will have demonstrable expertise in data-driven marketing, including planning, execution and analysis. Importantly, you will have shown you know how to test robustly, analyze the impact and drive consistent performance improvement through learnings from your experiments. Additionally, you will influence product team's roadmap for marketing automation.

Key job responsibilities

  • Own Mobile display ad network and Digital advertising from end to end – manage bidding strategy, messaging, content and design, planning and execution as well as performance reporting on individual marketing channels and bigger picture trends.
  • Build strategy to engage audiences at scale through digital and mobile channels to drive efficient customer acquisition of target customers.
  • Develop and own a product testing plan to deliver strong audience-engagement, consistent channel growth and performance improvements against key metrics across a range of campaigns targets.
  • Work closely with internal and external partners to develop and drive execution to the highest standard, on time and on budget.
  • Manage budget to deliver results within cost-efficiency targets.
  • Develop and deliver the paid/mobile product and feature roadmap while collaborating with the global product and engineering teams to ensure we have a strong pipeline of products that allow us to engage audiences at scale and speed.
  • Report on progress against goals to wider stakeholders – writing up proposals, roadmap and track progress against budgets and targets.
  • Maintain brand and channel standards with stellar attention to detail.
  • Work closely with other marketing channels within Amazon to integrate all marketing activities.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
  • Experience communicating results to senior leadership
  • Business or Native fluency in Japanese and English (both verbal and written communications)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience creating and executing integrated marketing lead generation campaigns using tactics that include live or virtual events, webinars, email, lead nurture programs, and CRM/sales insights
  • Experience with Salesforce and Tableau
