Responsibilities

• Formulate production plans and assess supply feasibility based on customer requirements
• Optimize allocation of globally shared materials
• Procure required materials and parts
• Design inbound logistics and determine appropriate packaging formats
• Develop and continuously improve internal factory logistics
• Manage import and export operations for parts
• Serve as global headquarters function by overseeing KPI management and deploying best practices
• Support with ad-hoc responsibilities with global team

Requirements

• 5+ years of SCM experience (manufacturing industry preferred)
• Experience managing a team (mid-large size team management a plus)
• Factory floor experience is a plus
• Business level English
• Strong logical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Persistent in achieving goals and targets
• Open-minded and embraces diversity
• Able to propose realistic and practical solutions
• Strong communication skills
• Demonstrated team-building ability and leadership

Salary

• Company will consider candidates up to 17M JPY for annual salary (client may consider higher salary based on candidate skills and experience).
