Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality iOS applications using Swift.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Implement and maintain applications using MVVM architecture.
- Integrate applications with RESTful APIs.
- Write unit tests to ensure code robustness and reliability, covering edge cases and usability.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to improve application performance.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving the development process.
- Engage in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Work within an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality software.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of proven experience in software development and iOS app development.
- At least 4 years of experience working with Swift.
- Familiar with CocoaPods and Swift Package Manager.
- Proven track record in iOS app development, having published at least one original iOS application.
- Solid understanding of Git for version control (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
- Proficient in working with iOS SDK and interacting with remote data via REST and JSON.
- Strong understanding of MVVM architecture and its application in iOS development.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks.
- Familiar with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
- Comprehensive understanding of the mobile development lifecycle.
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with cloud messaging APIs and push notifications.
- Understanding of Apple's iOS design principles and interface guidelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, capable of working in a multicultural environment.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage time effectively.
- Eagerness to stay current with new technologies and methodologies.
- Japanese reading ability is a plus.
