We are looking for an experienced iOS Engineer to join our mobile development team and contribute to the development and operation of large-scale mobile applications, including the Rakuten Ichiba app. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality iOS solutions while mentoring junior engineers and improving overall team performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and operate iOS mobile applications
- Implement complex UI using UIKit and SwiftUI
- Handle CI/CD, release processes, and operational monitoring
- Troubleshoot issues and defects across the app lifecycle
- Manage task progress and report status
- Mentor junior engineers and support team growth
- Drive technical improvements, architecture modernization, and tech debt reduction
Mandatory Qualifications
- 6+ years of hands-on iOS development experience using Swift
- Strong experience with UI implementation, CI/CD, testing, and build delivery
- Practical knowledge of design, coding, and unit testing best practices
- Ability to work effectively with engineers, PMs, designers, and QA
- Experience leading mid-sized or larger development projects
- Strong ownership, team mindset, and willingness to take on new challenges
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using AI or automation in development workflows
- Knowledge of APIs and backend development
- Experience with large-scale service development and operations
- Team leadership experience
