Overview
Archer Professional Services (Archer PS) is focused on helping Archer's clients realise value and achieve a return on their investment in the Archer's solution, through the delivery of consulting and services related to Archer – the industry's leading Governance, Risk and Compliance solution.
The Advisory Consultant has end-to-end responsibility for delivery of Archer solutions to assigned clients. The Advisory Consultant demonstrates deep understanding of the Archer platform, various GRC domains, system architecture and Internet technology. The role performs a variety of complex tasks and a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
This role reports up to the PS Manager, APJ, with a dotted-line report to the Head of Sales & GTM, Japan.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead workshops to capture the client's business processes and requirements and transform them into a comprehensive integrated solution in line with Archer design best practices.
- Own the solution design and end-to-end implementation, providing oversight, quality assurance and fast time to value (TTV) for our clients.
- Assist with transitioning solutions to business-as-usual operations, including change management, knowledge sharing, documentation, issue resolution, and support transition activities.
- Provide Archer services including roadmaps & solution optimisation to clients and partners.
- Identify new sales opportunities, assist with scoping estimates, and from time to time assist with project management activities.
- Mentor colleagues in Archer Best Practices as required.
- Travel as required, up to 10% within Japan, APAC theatre and globally.
Expectations
- Work on-site or remotely as part of a team to deliver Archer software solutions to our clients.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, partners and colleagues to ensure our best chance for expansion opportunities.
- Represent Archer in a professional manner to clients, partners and other personnel at all times.
- Articulate the full value of the Archer Professional Services business benefit to the client and sales. Identify potential future opportunities where possible and communicate to the sales team.
- Maintain an active knowledge of current industry trends and new technologies. Complete and maintain industry recognized project management certification. Complete required accreditations.
- Adhere to and maintain a strong understanding of the Archer services portfolio, underlying technologies, best practices and delivery methodology.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, in a technical discipline or 7+ years of relevant work experience.
- Thorough understanding of enterprise best practices and GRC domains.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written are required (Japanese and English preferred).
- Expert consulting, presentation, and workshop facilitation skills.
- Previous Archer configuration and implementation experience is expected. This should include at least 2 Archer use cases / domains.
- An excellent understanding of business processes, web forms-based data capture, workflow, data integration (e.g. CSV, XML, API), and databases (preferably SQL).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
