Driven by their desire to continue their international development, they are currently looking for an Asia Export Manager.
ABOUT THE JOB
Define the Commercial Strategy:
- Undertake a comprehensive analysis of the Asian market landscape to formulate a robust commercial strategy.
- Define clear objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with overall company goals.
- Develop actionable plans to penetrate and expand market share in target regions within Asia.
- Translate strategic directives into tangible action plans, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and resources.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including marketing and logistics to execute plans effectively.
- Continuously monitor and adapt strategies based on market dynamics and emerging trends.
- Proactively engage with existing customers to understand evolving needs and preferences.
- Conduct market research and analysis to anticipate industry trends and customer demands.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with importers, distributors, and direct customers across the region.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to distribution partners to optimize sales performance.
- Implement effective channel management strategies to ensure broad market coverage and efficient distribution of products.
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities through systematic market research and analysis.
- Develop and execute targeted prospecting strategies to enter untapped or under-penetrated markets.
- Establish partnerships and alliances with local businesses and stakeholders to facilitate market entry and expansion.
- Monitor competitive activities and market trends to stay ahead of the curve.
- Gather and analyze relevant data to generate actionable insights for decision-making.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate performance metrics, market insights, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, trade policies, and export laws across target markets.
- Mitigate risks associated with currency fluctuations, geopolitical uncertainties, and other market-specific challenges.
- Implement robust risk management strategies to safeguard the company's interests and assets.
Requirements
PROFILE REQUIREMENTSTechnical Proficiency and Experience:
- Demonstrated proficiency as a seasoned business developer, ideally with prior experience in a similar role within the food industry.
- Possess a strong understanding of export operations, logistics, and distribution channels.
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance standards is highly desirable.
- Exhibit a strong entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of driving innovation and seizing opportunities for business growth.
