Department Overview
We aim to strengthen our mobile services for corporations and grow them into a core business pillar. Recognizing the accelerating adoption of DX (Digital Transformation) within companies, we will solve our customers' challenges by providing innovative services that maximize the utilization of mobile technology.
This position belongs to the Service Planning Department and is responsible for planning and providing optimal solutions, primarily centered on mobile services, to address the needs and challenges of corporate clients. You will have significant discretion to be involved consistently from planning to implementation, experiencing personal growth through exposure to cutting-edge technologies, creating innovative services that change society, and collaborating with various industries.

Why We Hire
Due to business expansion, we are recruiting individuals who can plan and promote mobile services for corporations. Specifically, we are looking for someone who can lead the planning of new services tailored to the mobile communication needs of corporate clients, improve existing services, and formulate business strategies to achieve these goals. We are seeking a highly capable individual who can accurately grasp market trends and customer needs, create innovative mobile services, and thereby accelerate the growth of our corporate mobile business.
Position Details
You will be responsible for planning and strategizing a range of corporate mobile offerings, from general corporate mobile voice/data lines to Rakuten Mobile's unique corporate products/services, and combining these with third-party services and corporate services from other Rakuten Group companies. You will also handle sales planning.
We aim to create Rakuten's unique value that can be offered to customers by collaborating with representatives from various Rakuten Group companies.
We are looking for individuals who want to create new services that existing carriers don't offer, and who are eager to develop plans that embody Rakuten's distinctiveness and capabilities.
- Formulating service strategies for corporate business and planning products/services.
- Reviewing legal/financial business requirements, simulating service profitability, and compiling budget and personnel plans.
- Collaborating with Rakuten Group companies to plan and promote new businesses leveraging the Rakuten Ecosystem in the B2B domain.
- Developing new sales channels and services in collaboration with other industries, not limited to telecommunication services.
- Collecting customer feedback during service provision, considering priorities for newly released services, and improving existing services.
- Coordinating with third-party vendors for sales support and negotiating terms.
- Planning sales strategies, including solution building and identifying target customers, and creating service proposals.
- Organizing external seminars, etc.
Work Environment
You will work in a dynamically expanding organization, collaborating with both internal and external teams. We support efficient work execution by utilizing the latest IT tools and systems, including AI.
Regarding team composition, our environment includes members in their 20s to 40s.
Our team comprises members from diverse backgrounds, including those from the telecommunications industry and manufacturers. New graduates from the Rakuten Group are also actively contributing, and in a vibrant atmosphere, each member leverages their expertise to drive projects forward.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Practical experience in planning or promoting services for corporations (3+ years)
- Experience in executing measures with responsibility for product sales is a plus
- Basic PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in promotional planning for specific industries such as lodging, retail, food and beverage, nursing care, or healthcare.
- Proven track record in strategy formulation, planning, and promotion for SaaS implementation or H/W-related projects.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to engage and motivate others.
- Business-level English proficiency (as communication with internal and external stakeholders may be required).
