Signal Architecture Group Product Manager

Our Team

Molex has an exciting opportunity for a Group Product Manager to join our Power and Signal Business unit.

The Group Product Manager will manage multiple Architect product managers and will own the development of our future product pipeline.

This role acts as a focal point for market knowledge, product development, and commercialization for signal WTB and WtW products.

What You Will Do

Oversea the product development process and execution for annual new product releases
Own the strategy, process, and execution for our new product development pipeline
Conduct research to analyze competitive position, market trends, and technological direction at customers
Identify portfolio product gaps from voice of the customer and/or competitive offering
Embrace the role of the supervisor as this role will have direct supervisory responsibility for marketing professionals.

Supervisory duties include but not limited to:
development plans, plans for necessary training, schedules workload, evaluates employee performance, participates in interviewing and recruitment activities, and will recommend or provide input on promotions, salary changes, disciplinary action, etc
Develop and implement strategic product and annual business plans targeting markets, industries and customers
Lead long range product planning and sets priorities among/between lines
Provide pricing guidance for new product releases using the Vendavo system, and develop pricing strategies that are fully implemented in internal systems and across the distribution network
Assure that product releases include sales tools, literature, training materials and distribution stocking and sample availability
Work closely with Molex Sales Engineers and our distribution partners globally to ensure they understand the upcoming product release pipeline and strategy
Assist in coordinating the preparation of required documentation, classifications, attributes, and product collateral for a successful product launch

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
5+ years product marketing experience in connector industry
5+ years product marketing experience in electro-mechanical device industry
Fluency in English and Japanese

What Will Put You Ahead

Previous supervisory experience
Technical background or project management experience
Experience with microminiature connector and connector development
Sales or Business Development experience
