仕事内容:
タクシードライバーを募集しています。
さいたま市内を中心に営業展開している平和自動車は24時間・365日営業しています。車両台数68台、乗務員118名が24時間入れ替わりでタクシーサービスを提供しています。長時間労働がイメージされるタクシードライバーですが、平和自動車は様々な働き方をミックスして24時間の稼働を担保しています。
今回募集するのは社内で"昼日勤"と呼ばれる一般的な会社員と同じような勤務時間に活躍頂く領域のドライバーです。
働き方例)
- 8:00出社
- 8:30乗務開始
- 12:00昼休憩(昼食)
- 13:00乗務再開
- 16:00乗務修了~洗車
- 17:00乗務修了~帰宅
※実際に運転する時間は6時間程度です。運転以外に洗車や点呼・納金業務があります。
1台の車を二人で使用する為、昼日勤のドライバーは夜に出勤してくる"夜日勤"ドライバーの為にタクシー車両を洗車して渡します(実際には昼日勤と夜日勤のドライバーが顔を合わすことはありません)。当然、夜日勤のドライバーも昼日勤者の為に乗務終了後に洗車しています。
【仕事の仕方】タクシー乗務というと、お客様を探す「流し」をイメージする人が多いのですが、平和自動車のタクシー乗務は「流し」をしません。下記3つの手法を織り交ぜながら1日の仕事を作り上げます。
- 駅のタクシー乗場で他社と一緒に順番を待つ
- 会社からの配車指示で客先に迎えに行く
- 配車アプリ「GO」で客先に迎えに行く
上記のように、自分でお客様を探すことが無く、ひたすら「待つ」ことが求められるため、未経験者がデビューしても先輩ドライバーと同じ条件で仕事が回ってくるのを待ちます。「待つ」ことにテクニックや経験は不要です。
【タクシーのご利用者】時間帯により、お客様の層が違います。おまかせする昼日勤のドライバーさんがお世話するお客様はこんな感じです。
- 通勤通学に利用される方
- ケガや病気で自力で通勤通学できない方
- 病院や買い物に行く高齢者
- 病院へ救急搬送された患者の家族の帰宅時の利用
高齢者のご利用者が多くを占めます。
ご利用になるお客様の多くが日常的にタクシーを御利用になる方々の為、お互いに顔見知りになることも多くあります。それぞれのコミュニケーションが楽しく、やりがいも感じられることでしょう。
嬉しいのは、ほとんどのお客様が「ありがとう」と仰っていただきながら乗降してくださいます。「ありがとう」のシャワーを浴びながらの業務は、更にやりがいを感じられるでしょう。

平和自動車は昭和26年(1951年)創業で今年74歳を迎えた古参のタクシー会社です。長年にわたり地域の移動を支え続けてきた信用と実績で多くのお客様に支えられて参りました。親子三代にわたって御利用いただいているお客様も多く、豊富な仕事量の根源になっています。
一緒に働く仲間は100名以上ですが、前段に説明した通り、様々なシフトで24時間の稼働を担保している関係で、実際に顔を合わす乗務員は半分もいません。少し寂しいような気もしますが、逆に、チームプレーが苦手な人には向いているかもしれません。

歴史が長い分、社屋も長い歴史を刻み続けていますが、カフェ風のラウンジをはじめ8年前にフルリフォームした社屋はきれいに管理されており、常に様々なシフトで活躍するドライバーが入れ替わりでくつろいでいます。
女性ドライバーも13名が在籍しており、20歳代から70歳代まで幅広く活躍しています。男性の仕事のイメージが強い職域ですが、平和自動車では性別問わず積極採用しています。
常に笑い声が響き渡る明るい職場は、ご近所への影響が心配されるところですが、ご近所からは暖かく見守っていただけているようです(勝手な判断です)。
面倒見の良い先輩乗務員が多数いるため、未経験者でも安心してデビューできる環境が平和自動車にあります。

会社側が要請する時間外労働はありませんが、最後にお乗せした乗客が遠いところに行く場合には残業になる場合があります。
