エスティ ローダー カンパニーズの日本法人(ELCジャパン合同会社)は日本屈指のプレステージビューティ企業で、エスティ ローダー カンパニーズの海外拠点の中でも長い歴史を紡いでいます。 日本での第1号店は1968年、東京の日本橋高島屋本店にオープンしました。
日本のオペレーション
東京都千代田区に移転した本社では、コーポレートおよびブランドチームが働いています。 仕切りのないオープンスペースで洗練されたインテリアデザインと皇居の素晴らしい景色が一望できるこのオフィスは、調和があり、コラボレーションを促す造りとなっています。
日本の研究開発・技術革新拠点も、丸の内本社の隣接するビルに移転しました。 ガレージにヒントを得たレイアウトは相乗効果を高め、「日本、およびその他アジア太平洋諸国で違いがわかる消費者にお喜びいただける製品を作る」という使命の実現をサポートしています。

Talents Needs Summary
*The Marketing Talents at ELC holds primary responsibilities to be the "center of brand marketing" and support BGM/marketing leaders on overall brand strategic planning and execution to achieve brand goals.
To achieve responsibilities, it is also required to collaborate and provide insights to Brand team and affiliate teams to ensure unity and execution quality.
Key Roles & Responsibilities*
- Decision Making – Indicate type of decisions typically made and the overall impact of those decisions.
- Problem Solving – Indicate the nature of problems regularly encountered and the complexity of the solutions.
- Independence of Action and Accountability – Indicate the general degree of independence which may range from closely monitored to setting direction.
- Budget Responsibility – Indicate degree of financial accountability. Include actual amount of operating budget and/or cost savings. Include net sales plan responsibility, if applicable.
- Leadership – Indicate management responsibility including planning for the department's future needs, operations, hiring, performance management, salary decisions, talent planning, etc. (i.e., one team, multiple teams, etc.).

Role Overview
The Marketing Manager will cultivate and grow an engaged community of consumers, advocates, and creators for The Ordinary. This role is responsible for strengthening brand loyalty, driving meaningful conversations, and building authentic connections across social platforms, online communities, and offline touchpoints—including pop-up events.
Key Responsibilities
- Brand Awareness & Communication Strategy
- Develop and execute the brand's upper-funnel strategy, including awareness, reach, and consideration initiatives.
- Define the communication framework and brand narrative tailored to target audiences.
- Analyze consumer insights, category trends, and cultural moments to guide storytelling and campaign planning.
- Campaign Development & Execution
- Lead the end-to-end development of integrated campaigns across social media, influencers, and offline media.
- Manage media planning for awareness KPIs (e.g., reach, impressions, VTR, viewability).
- Plan brand voice campaign including offline event that resonates with local consumers.
- Partner with regional marketing to localize global contents and ensure consistency with brand identity.
- Ensure campaigns are optimized for upper-funnel performance and aligned across paid and earned touchpoints.
- Social & Influencer Activation
- Plan content strategies and lead localized content creation for owned TikTok handle that drive organic reach and follower acquisition.
- Build a strong brand community with influencers. Identify and collaborate with influencers and creators to amplify brand messaging.
- Track influencer performance based on reach, impressions, and engagement metrics.
- Analytics & Performance Measurement
- Establish and track upper-funnel KPIs such as reach, impressions, video views, engagement rate, brand search uplift, and top-of-funnel conversion.
- Analyze media results and campaign effectiveness, identifying insights and optimization opportunities.
- Provide clear reports and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Collaboration & Cross-Functional Partnership
- Work closely with SMC and Online team to ensure a unified consumer journey.
- Partner with regional team to align on campaign priorities and adapt assets for the local market.
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in marketing, community management, and social media or related digital roles, PR Agency background welcome/preferred.
- Proven experience planning or supporting brand activations including events.
- Strong understanding of social platforms, online community dynamics, and creator ecosystems.
- Fluency in both English and Japanese, excellent communication skills with the ability to translate scientific or complex information into clear, friendly language.
- Passion for skincare, consumer education, and evidence-based beauty.
- Highly organized, with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
