Filipino Marketing Associate
to join our growing team in Japan
Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive, creative, and people-oriented Marketing Associate to support both offline and digital marketing initiatives
.
This role will help strengthen DCOM's presence within the Filipino community in Japan through
community engagement, events, partnerships, content creation, and online marketing activities
.
The ideal candidate is resourceful, adaptable, and comfortable working both on-ground and online in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing & Community Engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, churches, embassies, partner stores, and organizations
- Represent DCOM at community events, fairs, and outreach activities
- Assist in developing offline campaigns to increase brand visibility and trust
Event & Offline Marketing Support
- Assist in planning and executing marketing events and activations
- Handle on-ground tasks such as setup, coordination with organizers, and customer engagement
- Scout venues and support logistics for marketing activities
Digital Marketing & Content
- Support management and growth of social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
- Plan, create, and post engaging digital content (images, videos, stories, reels)
- Assist in running online marketing campaigns and promotions
- Monitor basic performance metrics and support content optimization
- Respond to simple customer inquiries via social platforms
Sales & Partnerships (Support Role)
- Assist in researching, reaching out to, and coordinating with potential partners or affiliates
- Help track and report basic engagement or performance data
- Coordinate with internal teams on marketing initiatives
Qualifications
- Filipino, fluent in
Tagalog and English - Japanese language proficiency:
at least
JLPT N3 level
(speaking, reading, and writing) - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized, proactive, and able to work independently
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and flexible environment
- Willing to travel locally for events and outreach activities
Preferred / Bonus Skills
- Experience in marketing, PR, community engagement, sales, events, or content creation
- Experience with social media management or digital marketing
- Familiarity with:
- Meta Ads, Apple Ads, or Google Ads
- Canva, Photoshop, or Adobe Illustrator
- Video editing tools (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, etc.)
- Social analytics tools (Meta Insights, Google Analytics)
