About the Project
This is a new implementation of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud for a leading retail holding company transitioning from non-SAP legacy systems.
The implementation will support two major retail brands and involve extensive system integrations, including Point of Sale (POS) interfaces and personal customer data management.
The overall system scope is of high complexity.Key Responsibilities
Evaluate business requirements and perform system configuration in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud (Fit-to-Standard approach).
Manage and execute project deliverables across testing cycles – Unit Testing (UT), System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Develop and execute data migration strategies, including creating data mapping documents.Design background jobs, authorization, and permission profiles aligned with security and operational needs.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure proper system integration and process alignment.
Support project management activities, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and client expectations.
Experience:
Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP SD/MM modules.
Proven track record managing the Execute Phase in large-scale SAP implementation projects.
Skills and Mindset:
Strong understanding of retail business processes and system flows.
Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn SAP Public Cloud and adopt Fit-to-Standard methodology.
Excellent communication and documentation skills in Japanese; English proficiency is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations.
Deep domain knowledge in the retail industry, including experience with merchandising, POS integration, and supply chain processes.
