Responsibilities
Responsible for overseeing the entire manufacturing process of in-house developed products. Leads teams in production engineering, procurement, production planning, and quality control to ensure smooth operations and product delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage production of existing products, ensuring stable supply and high quality. Actual manufacturing is outsourced to contract manufacturers.
- Collaborate closely with R&D to prepare for new product launches and mass production.
- Lead teams across domestic and international sites, including non-Japanese members.
- Set manufacturing goals aligned with company-wide objectives, and develop and execute strategies with significant autonomy.
- Actively recruit and develop talent to support future growth of the department.
Qualifications
- Over 5 years of experience managing a team of around 10 members
- Experience in cost control and budget management
- Business-level English: fluency not required, but must be able to communicate effectively for work. The role involves managing overseas team members and reporting to a non-Japanese supervisor
- Experience working with or managing foreign nationals
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing-related functions such as engineering, procurement, production planning, or quality assurance
