Solution Owner / Senior Manager
Gran Manibus, a technology-led business consulting firm under SCSK and Sumitomo Corporation, is looking for a seasoned agile delivery expert to bring modern technology to reinvent business around Sumitomo which spans various industries. At Gran Manibus, we are trying to evolve business consulting services to be more technology driven and will provide modern consulting experience which will deliver greater impact to our clients business.
What You Will Do
Solution Owner plays a key role to success product and solution delivery. You will start from creating product vision and roadmap, leading delivery team and agile release train to deliver solution on time and continue to iterate and improve products and services through acting as glue across key stakeholders such as business owner, ultimate customer, engineering team and executive sponsors. You will also play a significant role in evangelizing agile to help customers to get the most value out of agile. Agile is still in early stage especially in Japan and you will act as a change agent to drive massive transformation from waterfall to agile across various organizations.
In addition to leading delivery, you are expected to help pre-sales and planning discussions through working with key stakeholders in customers and several key roles in our team such as Software Engineering Consultants, Experience Design Consultants, Data Engineering Consultants and executive team.
What You Will Bring
As a Solution Owner, you bring expertise in product development through agile and DevOps in product companies or in engineering service firms. You are expected to have skills and experience such as product planning and management, agile delivery management, and agile evangelist. An ideal candidate would have:
- 7+ years as program manager, product manager or project manager in agile software product delivery.
- Preferred to have certifications such as Certified Scrum Master, Professional Scrum Master, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner, ICAgile Certified Professional, SAFe Product Owner etc.
- Overwhelming passion for technology and innovation.
- Excellent communication skills. Inspire and lead people toward the goal. Create and harvest culture to embrace success or failure to build a better tomorrow.
- Proactively update knowledge around technology and advanced solutions.
- Extremely hands-on.
- Native level Japanese (N1) and business or native level English.
- Comfortable to deal with ambiguity and self-directed.
