Amazon Logistics部門(AMZL)のAmazon Customer Excellence System (ACES) チームでは、プロセス改善を担うProcess Improvement managerを募集しております。
【役割と業務内容】
ACESチームは、配送拠点(以下デリバリーステーション)の安全、品質、生産性を改善し、お客様の必要な時に商品を届けられる仕組みを構築し、カスタマーエクスペリエンスを高める役割を担っています。ACESチームは、デリバリーステーションでの配送効率を向上させるため、新規システム、仕組みの導入や改善プロジェクトを推進します。海外のAmazonで新規適用されたシステム、仕組みを日本のデリバリーステーションに適合させ導入、展開を推進します。新規導入したシステム、仕組みについては、データ分析と現場分析の両面から確認し改善をします。また、デリバリーステーションの全工程を理解し、安全、品質、生産性の向上に繋がるアイテムを抽出し改善を進めます。改善は、Operationのデータや現場観察からムダを定量化し、優先度決めをし、PDCA cycleを回します。Amazon デリバリーステーション全てに改善施策を適用できるようスケーラビリティーを考慮した上で標準化をし、拡大していきます。上記を、デリバリーステーションの管理者や各関係者と協業し業務を遂行していただきます。本ポジションでは、業界問わず業務プロセスに課題があった場合に自ら課題解決が出来る経験がある方を求めております。具体的にはシステムから抽出したデータを用いて問題分析を行い、問題を特定するだけでなく、現場訪問などの事実に基づく対策推進や改善を多くの関係者を巻き込みながら主導出来る経験がある方を求めております。ACESチームでは、物流業界出身の方のみならず、製造業、コンサルタントなど多様なバックグラウンドのメンバーが活躍しています。勤務日の半分程度、出張も含めた現場での業務が発生します。

Key job responsibilities
デリバリーステーションの安全、品質、生産性の改善にあたっては、Amazonのネットワークで取得できるデータを定量的、論理的に分析し、問題点を深く理解します。データから確認できた問題点について現場の状況と合致しているか現場訪問をし確認します。また、Amazonネットワークで取得できるデータのみでは不足している場合は、現場でのムダの定量化(現場時間測定)、定性的データ(現場メンバーからのヒアリング)の取得を実施し、問題を深堀し、改善を実行します。改善の適用においては、日本のデリバリーステーションだけでなく、海外(North America、EU)のデリバリーステーションへのスケーラビリティも考慮し、標準化した上で拡大をします。
A day in the life
本ポジションは、実際の改善活動を各デリバリーステーションメンバーと連携をしながらリードしていくため、連携が必要な関連部署は多岐に渡ります。具体的には
・海外の同様の活動をしている組織との連携
・Process Improvementを実施するための現場拠点長及び現場メンバーとの連携
カイゼン内容が広範囲に渡る場合はデータや事実に基づいた生産性及びコスト低減の予測を明確化した上で、関連部署を巻き込んだプロジェクト推進が必要になります。

Basic Qualifications
4年制大学学士号または同等の業務経験 ・業界を問わず、業務改善に関する知識経験、または、プロジェクトに携わった経験 ・ビジネスレベルの日本語・英語力(読み書き、会話)
Preferred Qualifications
LeanやTPSを活用した現場での改善推進経験 ・データベース関連の経験や知識 (SQL, Access, MySQL, Redshift, MS SQL Server、Excel, Visual Basic, Windows operating systems) ・インクルーシブなカルチャーへの貢献や多様性に富んだグループで働くことに対して前向きであること
