Job Summary Clinical trials are a crucial aspect of medical research, and as a Study Manager, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of clinical trials in Japan and globally. Your primary objective will be to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of clinical trials, ensuring that they are conducted in accordance with established protocols and regulatory requirements. Main Responsibilities • Collaborate with the Global Study Delivery Lead, the Japan Operations team, and other stakeholders to develop and implement clinical trial plans • Ensure that clinical trials are conducted in accordance with established protocols and regulatory requirements • Manage study timelines, budgets, and quality standards • Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential issues Required Skills and Experience • Proven experience in clinical trial management, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in operational and study management roles • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks • Good understanding of clinical trial regulations, including GCP, ICH, and Japanese regulations • Strong proficiency in Japanese and English languages Preferred Qualifications • Experience in oncology clinical trials • Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in a life science field About GSK GSK is a global biopharma company that aims to unite science, technology, and talent to get ahead of disease together.
