Role: Generative AI Engineer

Location:
Tokyo (Hybrid)

Starting Salary Range:
~ JPY

Japanese level required:
None

You'll work at the intersection of research, experimentation, and real-world implementation — helping product teams build industry-leading AI applications.

What You'll Actually Do

  • Study and implement the latest research in LLMs, NLP, and Generative AI
  • Fine-tune, optimize, and transform models for production use
  • Turn research outcomes into usable foundations for product teams
  • Solve complex AI challenges (performance, hallucination, bias, latency)
  • Build and integrate models using RAG, embeddings, and vector databases
  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and technical direction

This is not a "just train models" role.

You'll help shape the core AI capabilities behind next-generation products.

We're Looking For Engineers Who:

  • Hold a Master's or PhD in AI, CS, ML, Math, Physics, or related fields
  • Have strong hands-on experience in
    LLMs / NLP / Generative AI
  • Can implement ideas from research papers into working systems
  • Advanced
    Python
    programming: Practical experience with
    deep learning
    frameworks
    (
    PyTorch
    ,
    TensorFlow
    , Hugging Face Transformers)
  • Think like builders, not just researchers
