Intermediate Implementation Professional
Analyzes customer needs, configures the solution, and installs it at the customer site.
Ensures the solution meets specifications and functions according to customer-specific operational workflows for multiple concepts, users, and service models. Resolves any gaps in functionality. Trains staff on the use of the new solution, takes the site live on the system after everything has been configured and everyone is trained. Ensures a smooth transition to the new system. Answers operational and application questions and consults the customer to transfer ownership of the system to the customer. Provides technical support to the customer after "go-live".
Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for installing the Oracle Hospitality Hotel Systems product suite (OPERA) and its Oracle platform.
- Installs, configures, and tests all peripheral interfaces to 3rd party vendor systems, such as Call Account Systems, Point of Sales Systems, Door-lock Systems, Internet Systems, Video Service Systems, OWS, HTNG, Interfaces, OPI, etc.
- In-depth knowledge of hotel systems, Oracle database, and various interfaces.
- Imparts knowledge and best practices for ongoing system maintenance.
- Actively participates in education and collaboration forums.
- Participates in quality assurance of new product and/or version release software when required.
- Submits timely and accurate project status and other required reports.
- Maintains customer satisfaction within and beyond the organization.
- Showcases competent performance in and out of projects.
- Provides technical consultancy on different perspectives.

- Currently holds a valid passport.
- Willing to work overtime, overnight, weekends, and public holidays as requested.
- Performs any other tasks or duties as required by management.
Desirable
- Relevant technical accreditation, such as OCA, OCP, MCSE, MCDBA, MCITP, CCNA, etc.
- Experience in Oracle RAC, DG installation, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of hotel Front Office operating procedures.
