Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Kashiwa, Chiba, Japan
Nearest Train Station: Kita-Kashiwa Sta. (Joban Line), Kashiwanoha Campus Sta. (Tsukuba Express)
Job Type: Part-time, On-Site (with possibility to be full-time)
Working Hours: 4-6 hour shift between 11am to 8pm, 3 to 4x a week on Monday to Friday
Salary: 1140 yen per hour. Raise possible based on performance
About Us: We are a boutique educational institution in Kashiwa, Chiba, dedicated to offering personalized and high-quality English education. With small class sizes of about 10 students per classroom, we provide a supportive and engaging learning environment for both students and teachers. As part of our program, we offer pre-school and after-school child care, ensuring that students receive continuous support and engagement.
Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of the English language and a genuine interest in helping students improve their language skills. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and creating a positive classroom atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver English lessons to small classes of around 10 students each.
Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual learners.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share teaching resources.
Participate in school events and activities.
Provide after-school child care, ensuring students are engaged in productive and educational activities.
Requirements:
English proficiency: Fluent.
Bachelor's degree.
Teaching certification (TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent) preferred.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in a diverse cultural setting.
Ability to work on-site.
