This role sits within corporate banking and covers a broad range of products including lending, transaction banking, and markets solutions.
You will manage senior client relationships, support origination and execution activities, and help grow wallet share within a sophisticated FIG client base in Japan.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage and develop relationships with insurance companies and institutional investors.
Support origination and execution across lending, markets, and transaction banking products.
Participate in client meetings and support senior-level relationship discussions.
Identify cross-selling opportunities and contribute to wallet share expansion.
Prepare client presentations, proposals, and internal materials.
Coordinate closely with product, risk, and global FIG teams on transactions.
Ensure adherence to internal policies, credit standards, and governance requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications Experience:
5-10 years of experience covering insurance companies, NBFIs, asset managers, or institutional investors.
Strong understanding of insurance and asset management business models.
Solid experience in credit analysis, risk management, and transaction execution.
Ability to work across multiple banking products and internal stakeholders.
Experience operating within an international banking platform.
Soft Skills:
Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
Proactive, organised, and reliable working style.
Professional, calm, and accountable approach in client-facing environments.
